Justin Etzin’s early career was shaped by the world of luxury hospitality and travel. His understanding of premium guest experiences, honed across Europe, the United States and the Indian Ocean, earned him a reputation for delivering excellence in some of the world’s most demanding markets.
His vision, however, extended beyond commercial success. As CEO of Global Ocean, a firm specialising in private equity, global real estate investment and development, and debt financing, he redirected his focus toward projects with lasting public value: restoring historic properties, developing hotels built around wellness and longevity, and investing in healthcare infrastructure from the Seychelles to the United Kingdom.

For fourteen years, Justin Etzin served as a Diplomat for the Seychelles at the United Nations in New York, acting as a vital link between the island nation and the world’s financial and political hub. His tenure was defined by a commitment to elevating the Seychelles’ profile internationally, moving the conversation beyond tourism to spotlight investment opportunities across the blue economy.

He worked to strengthen bilateral ties through high-level meetings and cultural exchange, bringing the distinct challenges and opportunities of Small Island Developing States to the forefront of the global conversation. That experience now informs his role as strategic advisor and Special Envoy to the President of Seychelles.
